A remote compliance review by a qualified supervisor — before your NICEIC inspector finds the gaps first.
The Problem
Schedules of test results that don't stack up. Missing signatures, wrong reference numbers, or data that contradicts the cert — NICEIC assessors are trained to find exactly this.
Technical files that aren't in order. Your actual work is fine — but if you can't prove it on paper, it doesn't exist as far as your assessment is concerned.
No independent check before the assessor arrives. Most QS consultants work with large firms. Small contractors are left to find gaps themselves — or find out on the day.
What You Get
Full review of your certification paperwork, test schedules, and technical files against NICEIC criteria.
A clear pass/fail breakdown of every issue found — no jargon, no ambiguity. You know exactly what's wrong.
Prioritised action list so you spend time fixing the things that will fail you, not the things that won't.
Follow-up questions answered by email within 24 hours after you receive your report.
How It Works
Email to confirm your slot. Pay by bank transfer. No contract, no retainer.
Upload your certs, test schedules, and technical files via email or file share. Takes about 20 minutes.
Your gap report and fix list arrive within 5 working days — usually sooner.
Work through the list, ask follow-up questions by email, and go into your assessment with confidence.
David Mansion MIET is an Electrical Commissioning and Compliance Manager and NICEIC Qualified Supervisor with hands-on experience managing compliance across significant commercial contracts in the UK.
He's seen both sides — the paperwork that passes and the paperwork that doesn't. This review is what he'd do before an assessor walked in the door.
"Most contractors I've reviewed do solid electrical work. The issues are almost always in the documentation — and almost always fixable if you know where to look before the assessor does."

Questions
Electrical Installation Certificates, Minor Works Certificates, Schedules of Test Results, and any technical files or job records you plan to present at assessment. PDFs or scans are fine.
At least two weeks before your assessment date is ideal — it gives you time to act on the fix list. But even a week out, a focused review is better than none.
The review and fix list are included in the £149. If you need more involved help correcting documentation, get in touch and we can discuss separately.
The review is designed around NICEIC assessment criteria, but the documentation standards apply equally to NAPIT, ELECSA, and similar schemes. Get in touch if you're unsure.
